I said in my previous post that things are gonna start looking different and one of those changes is within this post. I’m a romance blogger, I get that. But….that’s not all I read, so from time to time I will be sharing with you books from different genres and even some not related book post. At this point, who knows, lol.
Last year a wonderful friend of mine started a company called Fit Babes United, with in that she has whats called Fit Babes University which is a wonderful collection of workouts. What I love about Fit Babes United is that Renee is not a IG perfect fitness model. She a mom of 4 in her 40’s showing us that being healthy is all that matters, that loving you is the most important and that we need to make it a family activity!
If you are looking for a change in your workout routine go check out the site https://fitbabesunited.com/
The reason I bring this all up is because this year she started the Fit Babe Book Club and as you know and I previously mentioned, I was in a book rut. This was the perfect opportunity to set some goals and get my mojo back!
Renee chose Your Best Year Ever by Michael Hyatt. A little back story, I’m a romance, gritty, smut reader. I hate self help books and have never been interested in reading one.
Well it must be age, fate, right place at the right time, who knows. What I do know is that I dove head first into this book! I made a goal to attended the weekly meetings (I only missed one, yay me!) and to stick it out to the end. I did that and so much more! The information I received from this book changed my mindset!
Michael Hyatt breaks down how to achieve your goals in 5 steps but also helps you compartmentalize them and digs deep into why you haven’t been successful. Let me tell you that I have never marked up a book so much! The information he provided was eye opening!
Please realize your goals don’t have to be massive, mine range from habitual ones of reading my daily devotional to saving for a bucket list trip. No matter the size of your goal Michael helps break down the steps to insure success. If your looking for a little bit of structure or have a goal in mind but you’re not sure how to achieve it, then this book is for you! 5 out of 5 roses!
Below I have included the link to purchase the book as well where to find Michael Hyatt!
